DJ FAQs

What is your starting price?

Our Packages are based on several factors including, equipment we need to use (i.e. outdoor ceremony sound system, size of the event), Start and Finish Time, and Location. Once we have this information we can provide an accurate quote.

What services do you offer?

We offer DJs, Emcee, event lighting, photo booth rentals, live musicians, video coverage, and multimedia.

How far in advance should I contact you?

Once you have a venue and a date confirmed then that would be a great time for us to talk.

What style of music do you offer?

As professional DJs, we are able to offer multiple styles and genres of music. Most importantly we start with your song suggestions then read the crowd to keep the dance floor busy.

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes we travel with professional DJ sound systems.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No, our Djs only work on one wedding on any one day. This ensures you get 100% of our attention.

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes, we are able to offer additional time if you decide to extend the event.

What are the forms of payment?

The first payment may be made by check or credit card but the final payment must be made by check or money order.

Are you insured, my venue requires you to have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes we are fully insured and able to provide your venue a certificate of insurance if needed.

Will I get a written confirmation?

Yes all clients receive a full detailed written booking confirmation in advance of the deposit payment being made, this ensures you know exactly what we are offering.

How much deposit do I need to pay to secure the booking?

Once you have signed the event contract we require a non refundable $300 deposit.

Full payment is required 2 weeks prior to the event and can be paid either check or money order.

When do you setup your equipment?

Given the option we prefer to setup at least 1 hour in advance to the start of the event. There is no additional charge for set up of break down of our equipment.

Will my guests get a copy?
Yes! All of our photo booths print TWO photo strips by default. We will print multiple copies if needed

Can I rent just the photo booth? 
Yes, we offer just photo booth rental packages

Can I provide my own scrapbook?
Absolutely! In fact, our attendant will still create the book for you!

Can I personalize my photo strips?
Yes! We can create a graphic and/or text to match the theme and colors of your wedding, party, or corporate event.

Do I need an attendant? All rental packages include an onsite attendant.

Can the booth be placed outdoors? 

Yes. However, the booth must be on level ground (preferably a paved area) and covered by a roof or tent, and have access to electric within 50 feet.

Can you bring the booth to my house? 
Yes. This is especially popular for graduation parties and holiday gatherings! Deliverability to a residential area must be placed on level ground in a covered area. Other conditions may apply.

How do I pay for my booth?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), checks, and PayPal.

What if we want additional time? 
Additional time is available upon request. Just notify your attendant. Please note that payment is required at the time of the request.

Do you charge for down time when the booth is not in operation?
Yes, we charge $50/hr for “idle time/down time.” We typically deliver your booth 1 hour in advance of the start time for your reception or event. Down time/idle time applies when there is a break in service after the start time.

How much is the deposit?
$300 to reserve your date.

Do you charge for travel?
Yes a travel fee may be applied for events more than 50 miles from Canton Ma

Do you provide a digital copy of the photos taken?
Yes, a link containing all of your photos will be provided no later than 14 days after your reception or party. This makes for easy download and sharing with others. You will also receive an online gallery.

How many photos will we get?
A typical 4-hour rental will yield 500 or more individual pictures. This number can vary depending upon the duration of rental, whether or not a graphic is placed on the bottom of the photo strips, and how many guests are present.

What is scrapbooking? 
During your rental, the attendant will take one of the duplicate photo strips that print out and place it into your scrapbook. Your guests will then write a note next to their picture. The scrapbook will be completed by the end of the party and placed on your gift table (if provided).

How long in advance should I reserve my photo booth?
The sooner the better! Many of our customers reserve their photo booth six months or longer before the date of their wedding. We have multiple photo booths and we want to crash everyone’s party, but we book quickly during the wedding season.

What regions do you provide service to?
We provide service to all areas within a 75 mile radius of downtown Boston.

Do you have a privacy policy? 

Epic Entertainment Boston does NOT share your personal information with any third party at any time. All photo booth pictures and any photos are property of EEB and may be used for marketing purposes, unless specified by the client not to do so.
